We’ve known that many of you own AlphaTricks specifically to help organize your fonts. Usually that’s been done through renaming. We know it’s an unwieldy way to manage anything. Now, you can tag your fonts - this means they can be discovered by any category, using the category names you choose. One of the biggest challenges of this was to make the font catalog into a file that you can take from system to system as you copy your fonts, but we’ve achieved it. Even going across the Mac/Win divide, you can keep your Font Catalog organization.

I have a question regarding the true type feature. You said it has a library of all the fonts in my system. Does that mean it accesses all the fonts on my computer? I have thousands of purchased commercial use fonts for my vinyl/sign shop. Since I have bought my embroidery machine, and use Embrilliance Essentials, I have been purchasing bx fonts. Many of them are the same fonts but in bx version. Can I stop buying bx fonts and use the thousands of .otf/.ttf that I have installed on my computer already for digitizing?

I just bought the Enthusiast addon and I don't have the University font. I have SA3 and more. Were there any fonts that are included with Enthusiast? Great video with great info, thanks Lisa.
@@tmireviews2684 Essentials comes with 15 native fonts. The other modules are based on Express that has Block font. You can try this technique on any BX font you have installed OR and stitch file.

I just watched this video. I didn't know you could calibrate your grid. I got a ruler and saw that 2 inches on my ruler was actually 2.25 inches on the screen. Therefore my grid was off a lot! Thanks so much for this video. I'm going to find more beginner videos so I can learn more stuff like this!

I absolutely loved this video. It was very helpful. I completed my design and saved it with a name but can’t find it on design database transfer. Where does it go? Oops found the WiFi to Brother/Babylock button under Utility- design database transfer not needed. I’m learning………
thank you Lisa, I purchased Stitch Artist 2, however I am new to digitizing this tutorial was a great help in step by step from start to finishing a design. I was able to stop and start as i began to understand the program buttons, the only thing I didnt see is how to actually save your design after doing the waves ?? Im going to save it as a working and wait for someone to share that last step Thanks again I believe I will do it again tomorrow

I am not sure if you will see this being the video is 11 months old. I am working on learning this and I follow step by step exactly and my letter L in Embrilliance, on the screen is missing somoe border lines. It has openings. I have deleted and repeated the process several times and I still get open borders. What am I mising?

What will get me equivalent results to hatch 2digitizer? I need software for my Mac.
@@sheyrieg6473 make a list of the features you use in your software to verify that they are in the following as I’m not 100% sure. However a comparable suite to most full programs would be Essentials, Enthusiast and StitchArtist L2. Some may add on AlphaTricks for the convenience of tagging and organizing their BX fonts.
I SPENT ABOUT 1 HR. TRYING TO READ HOW TO RESET MY TOOL BAR WINDOW IN MY PROGRAM. Watched your video and in less than 2 minutes I had it RESET!!!!! THANK YOU SOOOOOO MUCH.
Hi Lisa, I saved the coaster file to my Mac and loaded to Embrilliance. The PES file, specifically, the satin stitches on the green and light pink design is not stitching out. I cannot seem to figure out why? Can you guide me? Excited to use this file!

Hi Lisa, I so enjoy your teaching. Was able to be with you in person in Biloxi this past April, so much fun! Is it possible to create a “offset” so to speak if I want a monogram that is a block letter center with script initials on top? I would like there to be them slightest space around the script letters so that they don’t sit right on top of the block font. I hope that makes sense. I have a pic of what I want to do, just don’t know how to insert it here. I have Essentials thru Stitch Artist 1. Thanks so much!

What’s the use of Satin and Fill options?

Do you need both software modules to make this effect?
This video shows a technique using the Knockdown shape of Enthusiast and using StitchArtist to assign new stitch properties. Alternately you could create the shape using draw with points of StitchArtist. StitchArtist is required, Enthusiast provides a shortcut.

I can pull (most) any font - BX or not - in AlphaTricks and map to keyboard? If a have a non-BX font, say from I2S or Designs by JuJu, saved on my font folder, I pull thru AlphaTricks, map it to keyboard and it will show up in my font list in Embrilliance? I'm trying to wrap my head around this amazing option.

@@yvettemitchell6512 once you have the layout created, add a design(s) and or lettering and save it. The software saves the two split files so that you can stitch them at the machine. There are a few videos on how to save split files on our Essentials playlist. Our videos are on how to use the Embrilliance software that works with all machines. We don’t have machine videos.

This was just what I needed to know how to do. I had a soccer ball and lettering that I wanted to overlap but could not figure out how to remove the stitches. Thank you this worked great and I've bookmarked this so if I need a refresher on how to do next time.
